Here at Gant, we cut some of your prep time and give you the best trading hours of each asset class so your trades can go smoothly. Refer to the following chart to get a better understanding of each trading session.

Trading Sessions

It’s important for you to be aware of the trading hours and the different trading sessions. At Gant, we give you a detailed and easy-to-read chart that displays the different trading sessions both in the winter sessions and summer sessions.

What are Winter and Summer Sessions?
Just like the hours of daylight vary between winter and summer, the best hours to trade vary between winter and summer. At GantFX we use GMT +3 in the summer sessions and GMT +2 in the winter sessions, so make sure you’re aware of the time difference according to your region.

SUMMER SESSION
You also have the option to see the Market Trading Hours on your trading platform.
Trading Hours
Remember that the first few hours of market open are slower than usual until the Tokyo and London market sessions start. You may place new trades, and cancel existing ones or even modify them after market open. To trade forex, you have 24 hours, 5 days a week to trade the world’s markets, achieve your trading goals or even practice trading with the assistance of the GantFX customer care team to grow into the seasoned you want to be.

These fluctuations in the markets along with the fact that sessions are open and others get closed are what makes the spreads change and prices go up and down.

To understand when one session starts and another ends, take a look at the chart below.
